| Traditional Setup | em-trak X100 |
|---|---|
| Separate VHF radio | Integrated Class D DSC VHF |
| Separate AIS transceiver | Built-in 5W AIS Class B SOTDMA |
| Separate AIS splitter or antenna often required | Built-in zero-loss AIS/VHF splitter |
| More wiring and helm equipment | Single integrated communication platform |
CONNECT-X Wireless Vessel Control

The CONNECT-X platform allows compatible smartphones, tablets and smartwatches to connect wirelessly to the X100. This gives onboard users access to supported VHF, DSC and AIS functions from multiple positions around the vessel.
Integrated AIS Class B SOTDMA Transceiver

The X100 includes a 5W AIS Class B SOTDMA transceiver for vessel visibility and AIS target awareness. AIS targets can be displayed using the AIS list and AIS plot screens, with information such as range, bearing, CPA and TCPA where available.
Typical Applications
- Cruising yachts
- Offshore sailing yachts
