Description
Jotron TR-910 Offshore Radio – 103400OF
The Jotron TR-910 Offshore Radio is a fixed configuration
of Jotron’s multipurpose VHF AM airband radio platform for offshore
console-mounted communications applications.

Offshore aviation communications need equipment that fits the operational
environment. The TR-910 family gives operators several installation options,
while the 103400OF version packages the radio specifically for fixed
offshore console installation.
Jotron TR-910 Offshore Radio for Console Installation
Jotron supplies the Offshore version with a
standard DIN flange for console mounting and states that
custom-made flanges are available on request.
The Offshore package includes a handheld microphone,
connection cables and an
external AC/DC adaptor.
Jotron states that the TR-910 Offshore Radio can integrate with the
Ricochet SmartOil recorder system.
What Is Included with 103400OF?
Handheld Microphone
Included as part of the TR-910 Offshore configuration for local radio operation.
Connection Cables
Connection cables are listed as part of the Offshore package.
External AC/DC Adaptor
The 103400OF package includes an external AC/DC adaptor.
DIN Console Flange
Standard DIN flange for console mounting. Jotron states that
custom-made flanges are available on request.
Communications and Integration Capabilities
The Jotron TR-910 Offshore Radio is part of the wider
TR-910 platform. Jotron publishes the following capabilities for the
TR-910 family:
Jotron product information references 118–137/144 MHz.
The TR-910 brochure identifies the 144 MHz extended frequency
range as optional. F&C Marine therefore does not describe
operation to 144 MHz as standard on every TR-910 configuration.
Where Does the Offshore Version Fit?
Jotron positions the wider TR-910 family for applications in ATC and the
oil-and-gas sector, including helideck communications environments.
The Jotron TR-910 Offshore Radio 103400OF is packaged
around fixed console-mounted offshore use, rather than the desktop,
vehicle, portable or rack-mounted arrangements available elsewhere in
the TR-910 family.
More Than a Stand-Alone Airband Radio
Jotron publishes support for ED-137 VoIP, VCS integration, voice
recorder output, remote control and monitoring.
For the Offshore configuration, Jotron also states that the radio can
integrate with its Ricochet SmartOil recorder system.
The Radio Is Only Part of the RF System
A fixed airband installation also requires consideration of the antenna,
RF feeder, connectors, cable routing and the installation environment.
These elements need to be selected for the requirements of the individual
installation.
Related antenna and feeder products are shown as relevant equipment only.
Final suitability must be confirmed against the actual installation,
required frequency range, connector arrangement, feeder length and site
requirements.
TR-910 Offshore and TR30 AIR – Different Roles
The TR-910 Offshore should not be confused with the
Jotron TR30 AIR.
The TR-910 is a multipurpose VHF AM airband radio platform available in
several configurations. The TR30 AIR is a separate handheld emergency
AM aeronautical radio.
